Director of Fleet and Warehouse Operations - Contract Role
Our client runs a 25,000 square foot cross dock operation with 7 doors. It includes a cooler and a freezer. They are looking to fill a roughly 18 month contract. The successful candidate will be Director level who has good experience with perishable goods, strong skills in Health & Safety and cleanliness and will manage the Warehouse Manager and Fleet Supervisor in the organization. A key role will be to coordinate a good flow of the trucks arriving and departing with food. You should have 7-10 years of warehouse & fleet management experience and at least 5 years of director level experience. Ideally you will have worked in the Food Distribution or non-profit sectors.
