As they continue to grow and evolve, they are seeking a Strategic Business Development Executive to help drive expansion and solidify their market position within the Defense Industry vertical. The Director Strategic Development, Defence will be responsible for identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth across our diverse portfolio of transportation and logistics services. This role will work in close collaboration with Executive Leadership to shape the company's long-term vertical growth strategy and execute high-impact initiatives. Core deliverables will include developing and implementing comprehensive business development strategies to expand market share, identifying strategic partnerships to enhance service offerings and competitive position, analyzing market trends, competitor activities and customer needs to inform strategic decision-making all with the intent of bringing innovative solutions to market that address evolving customer requirements. The ideal candidate will hold a minimum 15 years of progressive experience in business development and/or strategic supply chain related roles within the logistics or defence industry. An undergraduate degree in business administration, supply chain management or a related field is also required (MBA preferred).
