Director of Operations
Our client is a long established and very successful asset based leader in the overweight and over-dimensional trucking market in North America. They are looking to add a Director of Operations to their team in Vaughan. Reporting to the Vice President, the Director of Operations is a key member of the senior leadership team and is responsible for managing and optimizing the company's operations in alignment with corporate strategy to meet corporate objectives. This role involves supervising department heads, ensuring operational excellence, and driving continuous improvement across all business functions. The right person will have significant experience in operations management in the specialized transportation field including a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role with P&L responsibility. In addition, the right person will have excellent people, communication and problem solving skills and a desire to be part of a growing and successful company.
