With continued growth they are looking to add a Distribution Manager to their Team in Mississauga, ON. The Distribution Manager is responsible for ensuring the efficient day-to-day operation of the distribution center. This includes overseeing the receipt, storage, loading, and dispatch of orders while maintaining key performance indicators (KPIs). The role involves managing employees, maintaining strong customer relationships, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Key responsibilities include developing work schedules, setting department goals, managing the distribution center's profit and loss (P&L), and preparing reports on activities and performance. The ideal candidate will have a college diploma or university degree in Supply Chain Management, Inventory Management, Logistics, or a related discipline being an asset. A minimum of five years of experience in warehousing or distribution, including at least two years in a leadership role, is required. Essential skills include proficiency in Microsoft Office, as well as strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS).
