Regional Tradelane Development Manager - UK

Our client is an established leader in the Canadian transportation and logistics space. As they continue to grow and evolve, they are looking to add a Regional Tradelane Development Manager to their team to drive growth on key UK/Europe - Canada routes. In this prominent, client-centric position, you will be instrumental in driving trade lane market expansion and ensuring client satisfaction. Your primary focus will be identifying opportunities and devising strategies to secure contracts with national companies seeking freight forwarding solutions. This role is essential for the growth of our clients International Forwarding division and you will be expected to collaborate with team members across the organization to develop business intelligence for sales opportunities. You will also have occasional North American and global travel requirements, making this a dynamic and engaging position. Key Responsibilities: ? Collaborate with team members to develop business intelligence for sales opportunities ? Be a Subject Matter Expert for the UK trade lane for external customers and internal partners ? Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure new customer onboarding runs smoothly ? Identify prospective target customers using the data in the customer relationship management system, and internal sales leads ? Meet sales goals, provide sales pipelines, and keep management up to date on market conditions Candidate Requirements: ? Minimum 5 years' experience in supply chain/freight forwarding with trade lane experience ? Sea + Air Logistics sales experience ? Experience identifying and closing customers with current book of business ? Experience working across multiple cultures and building relationships internationally ?
