To support their exemplary growth they are seeking a General Manager / Terminal Manager on-site in Oshawa, ON to lead day-to-day activities including Customer Service, Terminal Operations, Planning, and Dispatch. This position involves customer-facing responsibilities, including rate negotiations and contract renewals, and requires collaboration with various departments to ensure world-class service delivery. The Terminal Manager will also focus on building customer relations, revenue streams, and managing day-to-day operations. Top Responsibilities: - Implement operational policies, objectives, and initiatives - Execute operating plans and tactics to achieve financial and operational goals - Evaluate and optimize operational systems and procedures - Ensure compliance with standards and regulations - Monitor financial and operational metrics - Build and manage a team, including operations managers and customer service staff - Develop and maintain strong customer relationships - Participate in the sales cycle and support dedicated accounts - Manage the terminal's P&L and overall performance Key Qualifications and Required Skills: - 5+ years of relevant transportation experience, with reefer experience required - Post Secondary Education - Excellent leadership and analytical skills - Exemplary customer service skills - Ability to navigate a fast-paced work environment and juggle multiple tasks - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Strong relationship-building skills, both internally and externally - MS Office proficiency and Truckmate (or similar) An excellent, comprehensive compensation plan accompanies this opportunity.
