Our client is a major national trucking company. This role is based in Winnipeg and is 100% in the office. The role is to lead the Dispatch Planning team, which is an experienced team of 7 dispatch planners. Role Overview • Supervisor, Central Planning at Bison Transport (Winnipeg, full-time in-office) • Reports: 7 planners (experienced team) • Scope: central highway ops, Manitoba and Prairies Ideal Candidate Profile • Transportation or dispatching background required; trucking preferred but not mandatory • 5-10 years experience in transportation, logistics, or operations • Strong leadership: coaching, accountability, knowing when to step in vs. step back • Tenured team means candidate needs credibility and experience to earn respect You will ideally have a university or college education, with a major in business or logistics. Professional certifications like a CITT or CSCMP would be considered an asset.
