As a key member of their logistics operations, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and optimizing fleet movement, customer deliveries and utilization. The Dispatcher Account Manager role is a critical position responsible for efficiently scheduling and coordinating the movement of the fleet, managing driver assignments, and ensuring smooth operations across the mobile storage network. This role requires a strong understanding of transportation logistics, the ability to work under pressure, and excellent communication skills. The position is based in the York Simcoe Area and reports to the General Manager. You are a team player who treats people with respect, communicates clearly, and always puts the customer first. Duties + Responsibilities: - Fleet management and scheduling to optimize outcomes for both customers and the company - Coordinate and schedule freight deliveries and pickups, optimizing routes for efficiency - Plan and adjust routes as needed to accommodate changes or special requests - Communicate effectively with customers regarding freight details, delivery times, and special handling requests - Address and resolve any issues or delays that may arise during shipments - Maintain excellent relationships with drivers, fleet owners, and customers - Serve as the primary point of contact for drivers, customers, and internal teams for transportation needs Key Qualifications: - Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make quick decisions under pressure - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and transportation management software (TMS) - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry - Knowledge of geography and routing optimization techniques A strong compensation package accompanies this great opportunity.
