Vice President, Sales and Customer Service

Our client is one of Canada?s leading transportation companies, known for its adaptability and innovation in providing unique solutions tailored to customers changing needs. The Vice President, Sales + Customer Service opportunity is a key leadership role responsible for driving revenue and market share growth, as well as strategic oversight of all aspects sales and customer service operations. This role involves developing and implementing sales strategies, managing talent acquisition, and ensuring alignment with corporate goals and policies. The position will be based in the Greater Toronto Area and reports directly to the President. Key Duties and Responsibilities: -Establishes sales budgets, business plans, and marketing plans in conjunction with the group President -Develops sales plans and strategies by service type and region in alignment with company strategic goals -Understands and analyze market trends to identify future opportunities -Coaches, mentors, and develops team members to exceed growth and profit targets -Maximizes customer-facing time to assist sales professionals with sales process and skills improvement -Acts as an executive sponsor for RFQ and solution design/pricing processes -Leads and reports on national competitive activity and market conditions -Enables team members to maximize time spent on revenue-generating activities -Monitors sales activities through Regional Sales Managers (sales cycle/pipeline management) -Manages talent for both the Business Development and Customer Service Team Skills and Qualifications Required: -Minimum 15 years of sales leadership experience, preferably in a consultative sales environment -B.Comm or equivalent experience (MBA preferred) -Experience responding to Request for Proposals and leading large teams -Well-developed expertise in Transportation, Logistics, and Supply Chain industries -Demonstrated strong leadership skills in recruiting, training, and motivating a sales team -Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational abilities -Regular travel required (20-30%) Reimer Associates Inc. thanks you for your application and interest in this opportunity.
