Our client is a very successful industry leading multi modal logistics provider based in Cambridge ON. Due to continued growth, they are looking to add a Director of Operations to their team. The Director of Operations will help guide and strengthen a growing transportation and logistics operation across over-the-road, ocean, rail, and air freight. This is an important leadership role for someone who can bring structure, urgency, commercial discipline, and strong day-to-day execution to a fast-paced freight environment. The successful candidate will be a hands-on senior leader who can manage daily execution while also building scalable systems, developing people, improving processes, strengthening carrier and vendor relationships, and supporting profitable growth. This opportunity is a strong fit for an operations executive who understands transportation execution, client service, margin protection, risk management, and team leadership. Candidates should have 10+ years of progressive experience in logistics operations including over the road, rail, ocean and air, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. A competitive executive compensation package will be offered, based on experience, leadership scope, and industry background.
