Our client is a leading international freight forwarder that provides non-asset based supply chain services and solutions across a wide variety of industry verticals. Their suite of services include air and ocean freight forwarding, contract logistics/warehousing, customs brokerage, distribution, inbound logistics, truckload brokerage as well as extended supply chain management services that include 4PL consulting and purchase order management. To drive continued growth in the Canadian market, the organization is seeking a Revenue Growth Ninja to join their Mississauga, Ontario based sales team reporting directly to the Branch Manager. Your energy and efforts will enhance gross profit and market share through fostering relationships with both new and existing clients while promoting a comprehensive range of supply chain services. This includes identifying new business opportunities through market analysis, trade shows, and networking events, as well as preparing action plans tailored to client needs. The scope of the role includes negotiating service agreements and credit terms, and, maintaining detailed activity reports for your assigned sales territory. For optimal success you must possess excellent organizational skills alongside well-developed written, verbal, and presentation skills in order to effectively communicate with external and internal stakeholders alike. A thorough understanding of the transportation logistics landscape and successful sales strategies is essential for success. This opportunity demands a self-motivated individual who can work independently as well as part of a team while meeting deadlines and managing multiple tasks concurrently. Candidates must have a business (or related) university/college degree along with 3-5 years of proven sales experience in freight forwarding or logistics. Proficiency in CRM systems and strong computer skills, particularly MS Office are also required. A competitive base salary and lucrative incentive and benefits plan is being offered.
