Pricing / Operations Manager

Our client is a leading 3PL freight brokerage and is seeking a results-driven Pricing & Operations Manager to oversee daily operations, pricing strategy, and cross-functional coordination. Reporting to the VP/Director of Operations, this full-time in-office role is responsible for managing the end-to-end load lifecycle, developing competitive pricing models, and supporting both sales teams and carrier relationships. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, bringing analytical rigor, process focus, and a commitment to service excellence. Success in this position requires a blend of operational leadership, commercial acumen, and a strong grasp of technology and process improvement. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee all aspects of the load lifecycle, including booking, dispatch, tracking, issue resolution, and documentation - Lead the operations team in real-time problem-solving and escalation management, ensuring high service levels for customers and carriers - Coordinate and manage all incoming RFQs and tenders, building pricing models using historical data, market indexes, and gross profit goals - Collaborate with sales representatives to develop competitive, profitable quotes and maintain a centralized pricing matrix - Track RFQ win/loss ratios and margin performance for continuous improvement - Act as the operational liaison for sales, supporting client onboarding, quoting, and urgent load coverage - Develop and maintain a core carrier program, including scorecards, compliance vetting, and contract/spot rate negotiation - Build and maintain SOPs, implement process automation tools, and manage performance dashboards to drive operational efficiency and continuous improvement Core Skills & Experience Required: - Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field - 5+ years of experience in 3PL logistics or freight brokerage, with at least 2 years in operations/dispatch management and pricing/sales collaboration - Demonstrated experience managing RFQs/tenders for mid to large enterprise clients - Strong proficiency with TMS platforms (e.g., Truckmate, Rose Rocket, McLeod, Tailwind), load boards (DAT, Truckstop, Loadlink), and CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce). - Expertise in strategic pricing, margin optimization, and RFQ response management - Advanced data analysis skills and experience with process automation and KPI tracking - Highly organized, analytical, and adaptable, with excellent communication and team leadership abilities Reimer Associates Inc. thanks you for your application and interest in this opportunity.
