Our client is a large national trucking company. They are looking for a Senior Traffic analyst, who is focused on Pricing Quotes. The position is fully remote. You will be responsible for the preparation of LTL and TL rate requests, large tenders originating from company sales reps or customers. You will need excellent Excel skills (please describe yours in your response). The successful candidate will have strong industry knowledge and operational knowledge of the inner workings of TL and LTL operations. Post Secondary education is a requirement for this position. The quotes will be for Domestic, Intermodal and Cross-Border tender requests. You should have the ability to annually review high revenue accounts to determine profitability and other factors. The successful candidate will have good knowledge of mathematics and geography. Computer skills such as working with AS400, PC Miler, and ADVANCED EXCEL SKILLS (Macros, Pivot Tables, vLookups and other Excel Formulas). You should have 5+ years experience and understand Pick-Up/Delivery procedures, dock work procedures, linehaul routings etc. You should have the ability to work independently and make decisions based on department guidelines. The ability to work on several projects at once while meeting deadlines is KEY.
