Our company is a national transportation business. This role is based in Vancouver.
This position requires someone with strong SQL skills, preferably in DB2 but also MS. Knowledge of TruckMate would be a preferred asset as would a background in Trucking vertical and knowledge of Crystal Reports. This person must possess the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel, customers, clients and 3rd party partners, be eager to work as part of a team, providing strategic solutions for the enterprise while reporting to the Vice President - Admin. This position will require strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to balance multiple ongoing projects.
You are an IBM DB2 developer and/or MS SQL developer. You have Trimble Transportation’s TruckMate experience and Microsoft’s Visual Studio using C+ and Crystal Reports Writer.
You have a minimum of 3-5 years systems administration in the trucking or transportation industry.
Business or Computer Science degree from a recognized accredited university or Microsoft certifications are also required.
