Our client is the major player in the flooring section of the building trades in Canada. They have made numerous acquisitions over the last few years. They're looking to develop a highly professional sales team/structure in their business.
The position is a GTA based Senior Vice President Business Development who will be an accomplished leader with substantial sales and business development experience. The right person will have built a successful sales team using strong analytical skills to understand the marketplace, developed a sophisticated CRM and targeted the right accounts for substantial growth. Experience needs to include developing sophisticated business to business sales relationships, targeted approaches to clients, focusing on the gross margin to the business, and successfully hiring, training, and motivating top notch sales producers.
The Senior VP Business Development will work hand in hand with a strong supply chain group to grow the business and will lead the build out of sales offices in key cities.
A very significant base salary and incentive package will be available to the successful candidate.
