Senior Sales Executive - Ontario
Our client is a well recognized global leader in International Freight Forwarding. The organization is currently seeking a Senior Business Development Executive to grow their mid-market regional accounts in Ontario. The role is focused on growing International Air, Ocean, Road & Rail volumes. You will drive new business by identifying key pipeline targets, leading sales meetings, presenting recommendations for supply chain improvement and ultimately closing new enterprise sales. You will be an integral member of the Canadian Sales Team and sell for an industry leader, backed by a foundation of people, operations process, and technology platforms that are second to none. Role Responsibilities: Lead customer interactions, foster relationships, and close new business deals Use CRM to identify, call, and track prospects to gain core and strategic opportunities Visit customers and potential clients as required Collaborate with organizational leadership to ensure alignment with branch strategies in forecasting, business planning, and pipeline development Execute sales activities to meet or exceed daily / monthly / annual expectations Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless and positive customer experiences Consult with several levels of decision-makers to understand customers? business challenges and supply chain goals Required Skills and Qualifications: Post secondary degree or diploma with a minimum 4 years of operations experience from a freight forwarder or outside sales experience Advanced knowledge of logistical concepts and supply chain terminology Excellent communication and presentation skills Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively Strong attention to detail and ability to persuade, motivate, and influence others Self-driven, results-oriented individual with a positive outlook and clear focus on high quality and business profitability Your reward for top performance is an excellent compensation and benefits package.
