Our client is a mid sized LTL business along with warehousing. They have operations primarily in Ontario and Quebec, but some in British Columbia as well. This role is based in Mississauga, Ontario.
They are looking for a Senior Manager of Pricing. You will have Rate Analysts reporting to you and you will report to the CFO.
You should have an in-depth knowledge of the LTL business, keep abreast of market conditions, be able to quickly respond to sales opportunities and recommend areas of new business.
Your first task will be to develop a thorough understanding of the company's cost structure.
5 years of experience in the transportation rates / pricing experience is required, with experience in both the asset based and non-asset based carriers is key.
You should be proficient in financial modelling, pricing analytics and optimization and generating margin profitability.
