Our client, a freight forwarder who specializes in Project Freight based in Toronto near the Pearson Airport is looking for a Project Cargo Supervisor.
You will report to an Operations Manager and manage the 4 staff in the office. You will ensure all operators have equal workloads and manage and supervise operations. You will assist in operational problem solving as needed. You will train the operations staff in step by step instructions starting from simple drayage inquiries through the ability to handle any project cargo movement.
You will ensure there is timely invoicing and invoice posting, supporting accounting as the link to operations.
Management is expecting your position to be the centre of all operations around the project team in Toronto. All management concerns will be relayed to you for handling; your concerns need to be filtered and addressed directly with the team.
If any special circumstances arise, you will consult with the Management on how to proceed.
There is NO remote work, but they do allow for flexible hours / work from home in case of personal appointments.
