Our Client is a Canadian division of a multi-national brokerage business. They desire to attract high energy, experienced sales professional to join their growing team that has well-established process for closing retail brokerage solutions, along with delivering continued year over year growth. Two particular characteristics separate this opportunity. The client has a very full pipeline of opportunities to increase the share of wallet from many of their key customers. They are also prepared to offer a very strong compensation package; Mention $75 - 100k base salary + ability to double that in commissions within a couple of years In this position, the primary accountabilities include Identify, manage and close retail brokerage opportunities focused on manufacturers, retailers and distributors, leveraging the existing transportation management/TMS customer base, Develop and build customer relationships at decision-maker levels resulting in brokerage services business and deeper customer revenue expansion opportunities and Assess business opportunities and prospect requirements to solve challenges through a sales solution approach for truckload, LTL, dedicated, intermodal, collaborative and related services across Canada. 5+ years of Demonstrated expertise in sales and business development of transportation services, proven ability to drive a diagnostic sales campaign – presenting a thoughtful “reason to take action”, knowledge of sales strategies and knowledge of sales lead generation tools
