Our client, a recognized leader in transportation and distribution across Canada, is looking for an experienced Claims and Collections Manager to join their team in Concord, Ontario. Reporting to the Vice-President, the incumbent oversees and supports the Claims and Collections Departments to ensure timely, accurate and appropriate resolution of all aspects of Claims and Collections processes. The right person will have a post secondary degree or diploma in Business, Finance or Accounting, at least 5 years experience in the LTL Transportation Industry, and in-depth knowledge of regulations associated with Bills of Lading and Transportation of Dangerous Goods. In addition, requirements include strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate into action as well as strong facilitation skills with the ability to operate effectively at all levels within and outside the organization.
